Our Mission
For the Love of Horses is dedicated to facilitating the rehoming of retired racehorses in Elkton, MD and across the North East. Our focus is on placing each horse with the right home to ensure a comfortable transition into their second career.
About Our Horses
I have had personal interaction with all listed horses and have spent time training them into a racehorse. All our horses are looking for their forever home and are free to adopt. They are up to date with vaccines, coggins, dental, deworming, and so forth.
A sale waiver will be signed and if you need to rehome the horse, another waiver will be provided for you and the new owner to sign and emailed back to the site, because let's face it, personal situations can change. We always want to keep track of the horses adopted out.

We are a completely non-profit adoption program. Any donations go straight to the care of the horses.
